Cherie Newman Bowen began her career with the Town of Bridgewater as the first Deputy Treasurer in July 1987. Cherie was appointed by Town Council to the position of Treasurer in September 1995, upon the retirement of the previous treasurer Nancy Price, and has served in this capacity since.
Cherie is a 1983 graduate of James Madison University. She has lived in the town most of her life and considers it a privilege to call the Town of Bridgewater home.
