Town of Bridgewater, Virginia, Dry River Road Corridor Improvements
VDOT Project No. U000-176-R28, P101, R201, C501; UPC: 87071
Sealed bids on behalf of the Town of Bridgewater, Virginia, will be received at the Bridgewater Community Center, 201 Green Street, Post Office Box 72, Bridgewater, Virginia, 22812, until but no later than 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2020, and then publicly opened and read immediately thereafter via a Zoom meeting that can be attended using the following link, https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81653931338, for the construction of the following:
Dry River Road Corridor Improvements – The reconstruction of Dry River Road to include curb and gutter, dedicated bike lanes, and a five-foot sidewalk. Project will include traffic control, including work zone detours; erosion and sediment control; seeding of disturbed areas; asphalt pavement; water main relocation; storm sewer; underdrain; and other items necessary for the completion of the work, at the following location:
Along Dry River Road (Route 738) from Old River Road/Homestead Drive to Cannery Woods Drive, approximately 2,400’ in length.
The Town of Bridgewater Invitation for Bid (IFB) number for this project is #03-2020-01.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on May 28, 2020, via a Fuze meeting at the following link, https://fuze.me/61927380. Attendance is optional, although it is encouraged. Bid Security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Invitation for Bid Documents may also be provided upon request by calling the Town at (540) 908-4212.
